What this website collects, why, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who is responsible
This website is run by Srikanth Kalyanasundaram, an individual based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, who is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through it. You can reach him about anything in this notice through the contact page or at srikanthsund@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you choose to send: your name, institution or company, email address, optional phone number, the kind of enquiry, and your message.
- Nothing else about you. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of visitors.
- Display settings you pick (theme, text size, reduced motion) are saved only in your own browser and never sent to us.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and deliver the session or engagement you asked about. We do not sell, rent or share your details for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking separately.
Your consent
We process enquiry details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the enquiry form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to us; withdrawing does not affect anything already done before you withdrew.
Who else handles it
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, and its fonts are served by Google Fonts, so those providers see the technical information any website visit involves (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies. If the enquiry form is connected to a form or email service, that service stores the details you submit on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of work we deliver are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need to keep it;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Write to us through the contact page. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is meant for institutions, companies and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Colleges arranging sessions for students contact us as institutions.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it.
